Evelyn Rayson LL.B
Evelyn Rayson was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1988. Together with her law degree from Osgoode Hall, Evelyn holds a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Family and Divorce Mediation Training from DePaul University in Chicago. Her practice is restricted to family law litigation and includes both trial and appellate matters. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Ontario Bar Association, the National Association of Women and the Law, the Family Law Association, the Lawyer’s Club and the Collaborative Family Law Association of Toronto.
Evelyn has received accreditation from the Law Society of Upper Canada as a certified specialist in family law.
She is the founding partner of Rayson & Associates, a four-lawyer boutique family law firm in Toronto and is a regular contributor to continuing legal education programs in family law presented by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Evelyn teaches family law at the Bar Admission Course of Ontario.
Kenneth Back B.A., LL.B.
Kenneth Back was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1976 after graduating from Osgoode Hall. For over 30 years Ken has represented clients in thousands of family law matters including his representation of children in Child Welfare trials. He has served as a consultant to the Ontario Legal Aid Plan and has lectured at the Bar Admission Course for the Law Society of Upper Canada as well as to numerous lawyer groups for the Ontario Legal Aid Plan. Ken currently practices law in Toronto.
Andrew J. Kania LL.B, LL.M.
Andrew Kania is Senior Counsel to the Mississauga family law firm of Kania Lawyers. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Brampton West. His parliamentary service includes chairing the Parliamentary Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations and membership in the Public Safety and National Security Committee as well as the Liason Committee which supervises all parliamentary committees. Andrew has instructed Family Law and Civil Litigation at the Law Society of Upper Canada and has served as elected Secretary of the Ontario Bar Association which represents 17,000 lawyers in Ontario.
